Cambria, CA - First established by Beverly and Jack Russel, Stepladder Ranch & Creamery was founded in the early 1980s and originally used to raise cattle while housing several orange and avocado orchards. Moving forward to today, the couple's legacy continues with 3rd-generation family farmers, Jack Michelle Rudolph. Initially helping the ranch's avocado business in 2012, Jack started navigating new possibilities for the land and soon expanded his favorite hobbies; making great tasting cheese and sustainable farming.

Utilizing locally sourced ingredients in their products and maintaining over 90% of Stepladder's energy using solar power, Jack and Michelle make sustainability an integral component of their growing business. Together, this conscientious duo continues to passionately manage Stepladder Ranch and Creamery.
