Founded by green thumb, Lauretta Lavin, her love for the soil and these tiny flavor-packed and nutrient rich veggies emerged as a true calling! With humble beginnings, Laurette’s journey into microgreens first began in a sunny room, then a green house in her backyard, until she finally found the perfect plots on an Avocado and Citrus Rach in Ventura County and Moorpark. After experimenting with different ways to grow microgreens, the Microgreen Mama came to realize that there’s something different about growing in the sunshine! Microgreens are the first true lease of the plant, so the taste is bigger (and phenomenal!) A chef’s dream, you’ll notice the difference. From the first leaf, each grow tastes phenomenal. Like fresh flowers, Laurette cuts her delectable veggies on the spot, right from the soil!
