While this broccolini may look like baby broccoli, they are fully grown! Baby broccoli is the same plant as common broccoli but harvested early when they are thin and tender. This broccolini, on the other hand, is a totally different plant that is all grown up. An all-natural hybrid of common broccoli and a Chinese kale variety, they have all the same vitamins of both veggies, with a slightly milder broccoli flavor. Fun fact: In Italian 'ini ' means little, hence the name Broccolini actually means little broccoli.
